Complete, verified samagri list containing 32 essential items for performing Jivitputrika / Jitiya Vrat.
Jitiya Vrat, also known as Jivitputrika Vrat, is a significant Hindu observance predominantly celebrated by mothers in North and East India. During this rigorous day-long fast, mothers abstain from food and water to pray for the well-being, longevity, and prosperity of their children. The fast is observed with immense devotion, invoking the blessings of Lord Jimutavahana, a mythical figure who saved a mother's children from the clutches of a bird of prey. This vrat is believed to protect children from harm and grant them a long and healthy life.
